The Founders
A way home, thoughtfully built.
Marsie began with Felix Sie and Charles Martey—two friends from Ghana, now living in the United States—and a shared desire to find our way home.
As we thought about that return, we began looking for places where we would personally want to live. Settings with character. Homes that felt considered. Somewhere we could see ourselves spending time, building roots and enjoying life in Ghana.
That search became the starting point for Marsie.
We choose our locations carefully because our connection to what we build is personal. We ask whether we would want to live there ourselves, and what would make the home comfortable, practical and worth owning over time. Those questions guide our decisions, from the setting and layout to the details of everyday living.
Our time in the United States has also shaped what we expect from the buying experience: clear information, an understandable process and people who communicate and follow through. We want to bring that same care to our clients in Ghana and abroad.
For us, that means being intentional about both the homes and the experience of buying them—explaining each step, setting clear expectations and keeping clients informed as their home takes shape.
Marsie is our way of reconnecting with home through something lasting. We hope the homes we create will help others build their own connection, too.
Felix and Charles are both directly involved in every development — the site decisions, the specification and the conversations with buyers.

Fewer projects, more attention.
By design, we take on a select number of developments at a time. This allows us to give every project the attention it deserves — from the bigger decisions to the smallest details. We are deliberate about what we build, how we build it, and the standards we hold ourselves to.
We believe that taking on fewer projects allows us to be more present, more considered and more accountable. It is how we maintain our standards, pay attention to the details and, ultimately, deliver on our promise.
We choose our sites deliberately.
Not every location makes sense for the kind of development we want to build. We look for sites with character — good elevation, considered surroundings, and the kind of setting that will hold its value. Konkonuru Ridge, in the hills above Accra, is the kind of place we had in mind when we started.
We design for how people actually live.
A rooftop terrace you use. A pool that belongs to the site. Rooms that work with the climate rather than against it. We are not interested in ticking boxes on a specification sheet — we are interested in spaces that feel right when you are in them.
We take on a small number of projects at a time.
Scale is not our goal. Doing each development well is. We would rather build four homes that we can stand behind completely than spread ourselves across twenty we cannot. That deliberateness shows in the finish.
We build for the long term.
The people buying our homes are making one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives. We think about that when we specify materials, select contractors, and decide what to cut or keep. A Marsie home should still be worth owning in twenty years.

Ask us anything, and check it yourself.
We would rather you verified what we tell you than took it on trust. We provide the development's documentation so that you and your own legal adviser can review it properly, in your own time, before you commit to anything.
If it would make you more comfortable, we can also arrange for your payments to be held independently rather than paid directly to us. It is an option we are happy to offer where a buyer wants it — just ask, and we will set it up and confirm the arrangement in writing.
If there is something we cannot answer yet, we will say so plainly rather than guess. That applies to construction dates as much as anything else.
